What do we do with them and sure don't know what to do without them! It seems when one goes the other has to follow! LOL
Did Junior church on Sunday again had 5 children. I'm doing a theme I've done before but at another church called "Fall into God's Word" it's a fall theme about the Bible. But it seems I add to the theme's I've done before each time I redo them! I'll try to post pics, they have to be from my phone because I lost our camera!
Those of you that read this blog please pray about an opportunity for a children's ministry conference in the area where we live. It's going to be brought before at least two Ministerial Associations possibly 3 in the area (McDonald, Imperial, Robinson)these Associations include different pastors from different churches these towns I named are just the main place it includes several smaller towns in these areas . I feel God is helping in the planning of it. It's been a thought running around in my head for awhile. If any of you would have ideas for speakers please contact me. Also if anyone has ideas for vendors etc. please let me know. I'm going to try to get a website for it up and going soon. My pastor hopefully will be taking a packet of information God helped me put together to one of the meetings hopefully this week! Please pray God will help us in this endeavor! Also if anyone is close to the Pittsburgh area and would like to join us I will let you know the details when we really get our first one put together!

Fall Happenings

Well alot of water has been rushing under the bridge (not just running actually rushing!). I'm back to doing junior church on Sunday mornings now. Kinda like I used to do before I was married. It's quite different not getting to sit with my hubby in church anymore well for the next two months then I get time off!
I guess one reason why I haven't been on here is I forgot my login info and I've been on Facebook more often than here!
I don't really have time to post everything that has happened in the last few month being that it's been interesting. My husband will be having a surgery on his foot to correct a bone issue that has caused him excruciating pain over the last several years. We just went and had e-xrays and found out what was happening. Although I know God is able to heal him and who knows maybe when they go for the cat scan it'll be healed! I'm trusting God! It's been quite discouraging cuz when it rains it pours! But O well God is still in Control of everything. ( I just need to remember this!)
Well I've got to get back to work, maybe I'll post a bit more later!

Well it's been over a month since I last posted! I guess you could say I've been too busy! Well actually facebook has taken over! LOL
Well let me see what has happened in the last month....... I've worked......I've cleaned.......we've traveled to Nelsonville and back.........worked some more! O ok. Well My few veggies plants in the front yard are doing very well I'll soon be harvesting tomatoes and peppers! I never did get the rest of my garden in at my friends house just too busy!
This week started Clinton Camp so I've been running back and forth between clinton and McDonald where we live it's only about 15-20 minutes so not that bad of a trip and it's nice to be able to come home at night to our own bed instead of staying in a cabin that always seems to be a halfmile away from the bathroom when ya need it! LOL I love camp! I really do.
Well i suppose that's all for now. Can't think of anything else to write at this second!

Enjoying a day off!

Well today is my last day off now till the weekend so I'm trying to use it wisely in cleaning and laundry! LOL Bud was mowing the lawn and saw a black and yellow snake (YIKES!!!!). I hope it's gone because I need to work in the flower beds as well as get some more garden stuff planted! So much to do!
Yesterday for youth we only had 3 young people plus and Bud and myself but we still had it anyways. If we cancelled for all the times we only had a few the devil would always win! We can't let him do that! We also only had 3 for children's church but we had a good time anyhow! The kids were trying to get out of me later what happens in the continued story of Pilgrim's Progress and I just told them they would have to come back next time! LOL They went Oooooh!
Bud was all excited that the Pittsburgh Penguins won the Stanley cup! They're the only Pittsburgh team he'll root for! And we only live 20 miles from Pittsburgh! LOL
Well just wanted to update on here a bit! We'll be going to help out at a youth camp the end of next week for the weekend. We're gonna get to go canoeing! YAY!!!! Bud is in charge of the youth for the closing weekend of camp! Seems like our summer is filling up so fast with stuff to do. We've got 2 youth get together's this weekend one on Friday one on Saturday. Keeps us hopping! Well I gotta run! TTYL

Encouragement!!!!

Well yesterday was the kick off sunday for Junior Church we're doing a theme on Heaven called the New Jerusalem Tour and had 7 children present and hopefully more to come!

Then for youth we had 10 young people plus the pastor's wife, myself and hubby! We've only been having around 3-4 usually so that was a big encouragment and they all seem excited to get into it and we're planning some youth fun things like a bonfire/singspiration and a table game night and stuff and then at the end of June will be the South Eastern Ohio youth camp in Nelsonville that we may have a few that might go to that so that'll be a new experience!

It's so encouraging to see God move! He's been working in both of our lives and I know especially in mine He's been showing me places where I need to move up and to do better. He's a great big wonderful God!

Musings from the Library!

Well I guess it's been awhile since I updated here don't have much time anymore!

I start doing junior church tomorrow so I've been preparing for that (in between being sick!). I'm doing a theme I did before but I'm enhancing it and hoping it will be better the second time through it's called "NEW JERUSALEM TOUR" it's all about the sites in heaven.

Last weekend we spent at our families cabin back up in the mountains here in PA. It was fun except the pump on the well quit working so we had to haul water from the creek about a half to a mile down the road! It was fun though. We went wading in the creek it was so cold my skin turned red! Although it did feel good because it was hot all weekend. Then on Monday we attended the Reitz family reunion I hadn't been there for 2 years so it nice to see everyone.

Last week Bud was sick for three days and missed work and now I think I've got a touch of it. I've been up and around but not feeling so great! We've been sick so much I think we keep giving it back and forth! Maybe I should start sleeping on the couch! LOL (just kidding!)

Well i guess I better not stay on here too long I have some more visual work to do for junior church tomorrow I just wanted to update a little!

Mother's Day Weekend!

It was good to get away and visit my parents for a few days. We'll be heading back home to PA today and back to work tomorrow. My mom has been trying out some new Taste Of Home recipes and a casserole cookbook I'm gonna have to get it has some delicious looking recipes in it!
My home church in Salem here had good services yesterday Pastor Grabill with God's help does an awesome job!
I also joined face book this weekend and didn't realize how many people I knew that were on there!
Mom and I plan to go garden shopping today. And I'm also to be getting my wedding photos! I'm so excited It's been almost 5 months that we've been married. I guess they've been done for awhile but no one could get a hold of us!
Well that's about all for now I'll update again later. Not much to write!
I will be starting Junior church in a few weeks and our church is in revival with Bro. Joe Smith this week. Hopefully I can make it with mine and Bud's work schedules!

Warm Weather here we come!

Well It's been awhile since I posted on here so guess I better update. It just never seems I have enough time to do everything!

Bud and I were sick with some kind of flu bug this week guess we share and share alike now! We're better now but he was off from work 2 days with it and I was off 1 day (didn't hit me as hard as him!)

My tulips are finally blooming and they're so pretty, I really need to post some pics on here but it'll have to wait till Mother's day weekend I guess!

I'm still working 3 days a week like normal. I have the weekends off well from Friday till Tuesday off. That's like having a mini vacation every week except it's usually filled with housework and errands as well as a piano student on Fridays.

It's to be in the 80's all weekend so we're gonna see how warm our house gets since we don't have air conditioning. We've already turned the furnace off due to low oil so it's been pretty chilly I think it was 50's in there when i got up this morning but we'll be glad for that when it gets to the 80's!

I'm wanting to put in a garden but am not sure where to put it the land that we live on is in a weird shape and there's an open lot next to us that belongs to the golf course which is behind us. So I may just put it at the back corner of our house and if it's on their property they are not using it anyways!

This weekend is the church singspiration at 2 pm it's fun to do. I think we're planning one just for the youth at the end of may we'll have it on a saturday afternoon and then have hot dogs and stuff afterwards. Our friends Eric and Becca usually come too and Bud and I and Eric are going to try to start a group together. I'm sure it will be fun. Bud and I are to sing for a youth get together in May also. We all love music so much.

A snow storm in April!

I woke up this morning to snow covering the ground here in PA! But it's April! (And it's still snowing!) I'm ready for spring.

There has been so much going on around here it's hard to put everything down. Kevin (my youngest brother) graduated from Marine boot camp 1 1/2 weeks ago. He's now in North Carolina for combat training!

Keith my older brother will be graduating from Recruiters training in May and then will be moving to Florida with his wife and girl.

Well I'm working today and my lunch break is over so gotta run maybe I'll update more!

Visiting with the In-Laws and a Birthday!

Today is Bud's birthday he turned 26 (says he's old! LOL). We came to visit Bud's family for a few days. We've not been down since January so it was nice to get away! I think we're coming back next week for another visit and a concert I think!

I went out today and got Bud his favorite kind of cake, Ice Cream cake from DQ!!!! We're having tacos for supper at A. Sharon's.

It's been relaxing so far and we're having fun but we'll be heading home tomorrow for work on Thursday.

I like it down here it's very relaxing and it's so warm!!!! I'm not sure what the temp is but it's quite warm!

Kevin graduates from boot camp next Friday. I really wish I could fly down and see him but can't afford that right now. He starts his crucible tomorrow so if any of y'all think about it pray for him it'll be the worst 3 days of the whole boot camp it's where they earn their, Eagle, Globe and Anchor. Also Keith is in recruiter training in San Diego, California and he needs prayer too. If Keith does not pass this training he will get deployed immediatley to Afghanistan! Otherwise he'll be stateside for 3 years and really that would be great especially for his little family in the last 3-4 years he's been deployed 3 times all for 6 months tours, 2 in Iraq and 1 in Afghanistan.

Well I guess I'm gonna get off here and get back to visiting with family! (seems still a little strange that I have in-laws now! LOL It's great I love them!) TTYL

Weekend Happenings!

Well our weekend was pretty full. I cleaned alot on Saturday. Sunday we had our pastor and his wife over for dinner which went very well despite all of my woes about it! We had ham and sweet potatoes and corn and salad, (didn't have desert because they were going to a b-day party afterward and so they would get cake there!).

I'm actually writing this from work I found out I was allowed to get on the internet while on my lunch break so that's how I'm doing this.

It was so beautiful over the weekend and then I got up this morning to cold weather again UGH!!! I want it to get warm to stay! I'm anxious to start planting things and making the outside of our house look nice! (not that it doesn't but y'all know what I mean!)

Bud's work is going to 7 days a week at the end of March Ughh! (well he won't be working Sundays though he's already put his foot down on that a couple times and they're pretty good about it!) A commisary in Cleveland closed (He works for Brueggar's Bagels and I guess they call it a commisary!) So we'll both be staying pretty busy even though my schedule hopefully won't change that much.

The youth and I discussed names for the group and came up with S.W.A.T - Servants With A Testimony. We're going to try and go out calling this weekend. We've got the faithful 3 now and we really need to get more in not just for numbers but because it's what we're called to do! I did get some encouragement at church yesterday during a song and the Pastor's sermon was pretty good too! 2 of our youth boys and their grandmother sang the song "God on the Mountain" and it talks about how that even in the valley He's still God! That's so true and sometimes it's really easy to encourage someone else but when we get there ourselves it's a total different story and we don't see the way out but during his sermon yesterday the Pastor said "a valley is just a mountain turned upside down." I really like that phrase!

Beautiful Spring days!

I've been sweating up a storm cleaning my house with the doors and windows open it's got to be like 70 degree outside! Beautiful just gorgeous!

I've been staying busy being a housewife and now I've been working my new job for 3 weeks I'm finally starting to get used to and am not quite so sore! LOL

Well can't stay on for long. If y'all think of it pray for my husband and I we are in need of some encouragement with the youth group who has dwindled down to 3 young people coming! They need encouragement also! We have been praying God will intervene for us and really get a hold them and set them on fire for Him! We also want a revival in our own hearts and not only want it but desparately need it!

The Weekend!

Had a baby shower for my cousin Regina who is due in April with a baby boy! Turned out pretty good. Aside from a few mishaps along the way. I had baked a cake and was going to decorate it for the shower and brought it out to Mom and Dads along with fruit for a fruit tray. I got all the fruit cut up and stuff and got ready to mix up the fruit dip and had washed the beaters and was putting them back in the mixer not thinking about it being plugged in and accidentally hit the power button and it sucked my bad left hand right into it. By the time I got it stopped and got my hand pulled out one of my bad fingers (the ring finger on my left hand) had a pretty bad cut (probably could have used a few stitches) on it right near the fingernail. Along with two other cuts one lower on that same finger and one on the middle finger next to it! It hurt pretty bad. So I guess I'll remember that it's not a good idea to try and add fingers to the mix! LOL O well could have been much worse if I hadn't been able to get my hand out in time! It's still pretty sore today but pretty much stopped bleeding and starting to heal up!

Well, my hubby and I are heading back home to Pa this afternoon probably pretty quick so I guess I better go and get our stuff together! (I had fallen asleep at the kitchen table after we ate the cake that I did finally get decorated (ended up decorating it for my parents birthdays which were in February! LOL).

Well Better go. Got lots to do this week but glad for a day to relax before going back to the grind! LOL

Praises to the Lord

I want to publicly praise the Lord for supplying me with a job! I got the job at the bulk foods store and it's only like 10 miles from home so it's not that bad. And they are working with my schedule otherwise also!

Well I know that this post is short but I have to go grocery shopping and get home and clean the house and such! (wifely duties LOL) Bud's working right now and won't be home for a couple more hours yet I suppose (since I never know when he's coming home because they work odd hours!)

We were to see my parents yesterday and enjoyed our visit even though we had a bunch of business that took us there so we were running all day! LOL

Well gotta go my time's up here at the library! More later!

Short Sweet and to the Point!

Well this post is gonna be short but just giving an update on what's been happening in our world.

My dad got released from the hospital on wednesday late so my parents came and stayed at our house for the night. He's okay and getting back to normal. However we also found out that my aunt who is a school teacher in stoneboro is very sick. She had an emergency surgery on wednesday I believe and she's still not out of the woods. Please pray for her (Bonnie Ritchey is her name)!

I went and put in an application at a minnonite bulk foods store that's about 7 miles from our house and it sounds pretty promising! Also my aunt called last night to say that the school wants me to bring in some flyers and business cards for piano lessons and they'll pass them out! And then I got an email about a nanny job thats just three days a week which is all really want! So continue to pray that the Lord works things out!

Well so much for short and sweet! Gotta go!

What a whirlwind week!

It's been beautiful weather as far as temp goes this week so far! I've had the windows open twice I would today too but we're not home!

My dad has been in the hospital this week due to an upper resparitory infection that we thought was a heart problem again. He's been undergoing stress tests today but has been in the hospital since Monday night. Thank the Lord for giving him a touch so that he is starting to feel better.

Bud and I have been doing all kinds of running around trying to get our new vehicle which is a Grand Jeep Cherokee! PA laws are nuts and they're driving us nuts anyone else have an issue with that! Have to go through so many loops and laws and regulations! LOL O well such is life and the government!

I've finally got 2 piano students so that's a little income for me but not nearly enough please continue to help me pray that I either get more students or I get a job!

Well I better go got lots to do today with all this running. My hubby is in this library somewhere just don't know where!

Visiting with In-Laws

Bud and I went to Logan this weekend to visit his family! We had a blast.

Bud preached the Sunday night service and we sang.

Saturday we went shopping (me and the girls!) we went to Texas Road house to eat and then went to the mall. I got a new shirt and skirt and stuff from Bath & Body works.

We had Christmas with them on Friday I love the gifts I got, a candle melter(with wax melts), Recipe cards, picture frames, and a liner for a recipe basket I got as a wedding gift.

They were videoing me yesterday while I was sleeping because I was snoring they said they were gonna put it on U-tube! LOL Then Bud had to use that as an illustration in his sermon last night! LOL I guess that's the first of many family illustrations!

Well, we're heading back out to Pa today. So I guess I'll go for now I'll update later. I still don't have a car since our little accident so I won't be able to get out much still till we can get to my parents and get their car! LOL

Everyday Happenings

Guess there's not really much to add to my blog since last time.

Mom and Dad came down on New Year's Eve and spent the night at our house and then stayed all day the next day, mom was helping to sew curtains for our living room, I still need to finish them but haven't found the time to yet.

Bud had Thursday and Friday off last week so it was nice to have him home for a couple days.

Please continue to pray for my job situation, I have a lead that I'm working on just finished a resume tonight that I'm hoping to get into the agency and hope that everything works out!

I think we're going to my parents tomorrow for over night since Bud has Wednesday off. Mom's missing her kids pretty bad with Kevin being in boot camp and I'm now an hour and half away and Keith and his family are clear back down in NC!

Well I better get moving I have to pick a few things up at the grocery store and get back home!

Musings from the Library

I was able to get out today and make it to the library in Mcdonald and found that they have internet there so I could check email and update my blogspot.

Kevin my younger brother is leaving for Marine boot camp today so please keep him in your prayers. He is not a Christian as far as we know but we are praying. Bud and I in our devotions last night prayed especially for him and for my mom who is going to be going through a rough time with it because all of her kids are gone now! 2 married and one away from home now in the military!

Bud and I have been doing good. Boy does 3:45 am come quickly! Bud started back to work on Monday and I've been trying to be a good little wifey and get up with him in the morning to see him off but boy is that early! I feel guilty that I get to go back to bed and he has to work! LOL He told me this morning he was jealous of me LOL! :) Plus it gets boring in the long days when he's gone thankfully today I could get out and do something. He had my car yesterday which was fine I had some stuff to do around the house anyways!

My parents are coming for New Year's I think and we'll have a big New Year's dinner! That'll help mom I hope with coping with all of the kids being gone!

Well I better get off here I've got some shopping I need to do so I can get home and be there when my hubby gets off! TTYL

Our wedding!

Bud and I's wedding went off beautifully! Yes of course there were a few glitches with stuff but Gina did an awesome job of keeping things together and everything!

Bud and I went to Gettysburg for our honeymoon. That was a lot of fun even though it was very cold it was still neat. He loves history and especially the civil war stuff! I'll post pictures whenever I can right now we don't have internet at our house. I'm writting this from mom and dads since we're here for Christmas today!

Well gotta go help dad get our Christmas dinner ready. Mom had to work and so she's been sleeping today!

Wedding Excitement is in the air!

Wow 2 days till the big day! We're going to be decorating the church today. My mom keeps telling me I'm gonna have a beautiful wedding I don't know if it's really sunk in yet that I am really getting married! I'm excited and can't wait!

This week has flown by so far and I thought it would drag by! We've got so much to do this will probably be my last post here for awhile because Bud and I don't have internet at our house so I'll have to go to the library to do all this stuff!

Please pray that I can find a job and quickly. I talked to a lady from the church and she wrote me an email today letting me know of a few places that were hiring one I'm not that interested in and the other I'm very interested in it's working with mentally handicapped people helping them do stuff like balancing their check book, shopping, and budgeting and stuff. Please pray that I can land something good because it's going to be really tough for Bud and I if I don't!

I also want to thank the Lord for an answer to prayer. This past weekend while I was in Pa for the Youth program and get together my aunt discovered my little cousin (whom she has custody of) was badly burned on the arm, so she rushed her to the hospital they preceded to get indignant with her and called the Child and Youth Services people about it saying that she had neglected the little one. The situation is very sad between the parents they were fighting the night it happened and didn't bother to get her medical attention and never let my aunt know what had happened so my aunt was afraid she was gonna lose the girls (there are two sisters she has custody of). We prayed very hard because my Aunt is not one who neglects her kids (of which she has 14 now including the two granddaughters. Any how the CYS people came and once they realized what happened my aunt asked them something about taking the girls and the lady told her "we're not taking the girls out of your custody!" Praise the Lord for an answer to prayer! Please pray because they are still not out of the woods with this thing yet the CYS people still have to investigate the other children in the home.

Long Week but Fun

We've had my brother and his girl here this past week! I may post some pictures up here of our week so far. We've baked cookies decorated ornaments, put up Bud and I's Christmas Tree at our house and today I have a bridal shower!
It's 2 weeks till the wedding we went and got our marriage license yesterday! Then went out to celebrate! Then came back to my parents and started loading up stuff to take down to the house!
I know this post isn't very long but I'm running out of computer time so I better run! TTYL

First Day of Deer Season Memories!

Well today I am thankful for 8 years ago on this opening day of deer season I was shot and it could have been fatal but God allowed me to live and keep on enjoying life! On November 27, 2000 my dad, my brother and me and my grandpa went hunting ( my first time ever!!!) we sat out in the woods all day in the cold. I fired off a shot at a smaller doe but didn't get her. We finally decided that we would stay for the next day and see if that was any better (By the way we were at our cabin in the mountains of PA). So we all headed back to cabin for a hot meal and some relaxation. We got back to the cabin and dad and I went to unload our guns, he stepped up the porch and I followed suit leaning in too close to the porch. I started to eject shells about the same time that my dad did and suddenly CABOOOOOM!!!! The gun fired, I jumped back and grabbed my stomach and screamed, Dad didn't know what had happened and thought he had shot me in the stomach (we were 18 miles from the hospital) Soon though we realized it was my hand His first words were "She'll never play the piano again!" quickly he ran and got a bowl of COOOOOLLLLDDD water and told me to stick my hand in it I did and immediatly it was red. While I stood with my hand in the bowl of water he went and checked the guns and found that his gun had fired the shot and that the bullet had entered the magazine of my gun and caused it to explode (By the way there were 6 bullets in that gun only one fired!). He carefully took my gun inside (still loaded because we couldn't get the bullets out!) and put his gun away. My grandfather wasn't right there when it happened so we've kinda left him out of this the whole time.
My dad wrapped my hand in a towel so I wouldn't keep looking at it and make things worse and we headed for the hospital that was one ride I don't think I'll ever forget. We were flying and at one point I remember thinking ok Dad I don't need to break my neck too! LOL However on the way down the mountain road (rocky and all dirt) I told him that "I didn't care what it took I would play the piano again" (thank the Lord He has allowed that!) We got to the hospital and of course I was in a lot of pain every bump hurt! They hooked me up to IV's and the doctor came in and started checking things over. Of course the police had to come and interrigate us since it was a shooting even though it was completely an accident. The cop who came in to talk to me asked me if he had done it on purpose and I'm thinking "Dude your nuts why would my own dad purposly shoot me!" I wasn't too happy with him for that but then they had to take my dad back to the camp and make sure our stories matched and they did. So my great Aunt Mary came and staying with me in the hospital. While my dad was gone my mom called and they stretched to phone into my emergency room spot and I talked with her. By this time they were doping me up pretty good on Pain Drugs first was Demoral (which didn't do anything!) then Morphine which I was on for a few days. But while dad was gone I asked the Docotor what my chances were of losing my fingers and he gave me a percentage that I can't exactly remember something like 20% which isn't much but still is significant. They wheeled me down to exray and took pictures of my hand it was covered in shrapnel from the explosion. They by this time had wrapped it up pretty good. I stayed in that hospital over night (my brother and best friend Andrea came and spent the night with me well Andrea did Kevin didn't) The next day the transferred me to Akron Hospital to a Hand Specialist (all this time My hand had not been cleaned out and I was pretty much still in my hunting gear except I think I was able to get out of my coveralls)! The hand specialist in Akron took me into surgery(my first ever!) and they spent 2 hours just cleaning it out best they could ( I still have shrapnel in my hand). I was in that hosptial for about a day or so and then they sent me home with a Vikadin perscription which made me sleep. About a week after the accident I went back to Akron for the amputation of the end of my pinky finger( that was all I lost!). Today I pretty much have full use of my hand except I can't really squeeze anything because I can't make a full fist! The above picture is a picture of my hand 8 years later.
But I can play the piano just like always!
At the time that this all happened I was 15 and wasn't a Christian and wasn't a very happy person. After this all went down I can remember thinking to myself my life has to change, I almost died ( still didn't become a grounded Christian until I was probably 18 or 19) but this changed my life forever. My fiance says that had certain tradgedies not happened in both of our lives we probably would never have met. But I am a much happier person today (of course due to Jesus Christ being the main reason of my joy) and I enjoy my life much more now that I almost lost it! I realize that each day is a gift for which to be thankful and praise God for each little thing that happens in life. I thank Him that He got a hold of my heart and turned me from the wrong path to His path!
I know this post has been long but I felt on the eigth anniversary of this accident I would share it and what has happend in my life!

Tukey Day gone for another year!

Well I had a pretty good turkey day. We went to my grandma's in Pa and spent the day. My grandma, My aunt Bonnie, My Mom, And My Cousin Gina and I tied 202 rice bags for Bud and I's wedding!

Today is 21 days till the wedding, it's gonna be hectic! Although last night was my last day of work since they didn't put me on the schedule at all for next week! That really upset me and made me feel like I'd been fired but I guess we'll make it somehow! I'm just gonna have to learn to trust on God more!

Please pray that I'll be able to find a job quickly over in PA! I'm nervous about it. I'm gonna try to do some housecleaning jobs and piano lessons and we'll see how that goes!

Well My brother and Ava are going to be here tomorrow and I have cleaning to do today before a Bridal Shower this afternoon so I better go!

O the weather outside is frightful but the fire is so delightful (if it's in the fireplace that is! LOL)! Yes we're finally getting some snow! I really do hope that it snows for my wedding that would just put the icing on the cake! LOL No we'll have fun whether it snows or not!

My cousin and a few other people reminded me yesterday that I don't need to be stressing over little details just relax and enjoy the day! So I'm going to try to put myself in that mindset! It's 29 days till the wedding ya know and there's still a lot to be done!

Only 10 more days and my beautiful niece and my brother will be here for a week! Alicia is staying home this time she's gonna work and work on her dress for the wedding!

Tomorrow I have a dress fitting that I think will be the final dress fitting! My Sister In Laws are coming in too for their dress fitting also! After this weekend I'll be busy every weekend until the wedding! I can't believe how fast time is going! I was telling Bud the other night that this all seems like a dream and that I'm gonna wake up and it's not really gonna be true! Later I told my mom and she said "Do you want me to pinch you so you know it's real?" LOL I guess I just always thought I would be one that would never get married and now I am so it's a dream come true!

Well I've got some cleaning and packing and such to do so I better get off here! TTYL

STRESS, Wedding, STRESS, Wedding, MORE STRESS

Wow I didn't think that all this would get this stressful! I'm at about 4 weeks of planning and 2 weeks from today I'm quitting my job!

Well I know that this post is short but I've got to go get ready for work! I've been busy doing wedding stuff fixing up the rest of the invitations that I didn't have addresses for and everything! I have to be to work at 2 today! They've cut my days back to only 3 days!

I can't believe Thanksgiving is next week and then next will be Christmas and I'll be married for this Christmas! I'm excited. We'll actually be able to be together then! We're both so tired of always just talking on the phone and the times we get to see each other is usually for a different reason like a church gatherings, family get togethers, moving stuff, ect.! O well that's how engaged life goes! Soon it will be work, and chores and everything and then eventually, hopefully children! LOL

Well I've so much to do and so little time to do it in! It's 39 days till my wedding and I've been getting lazy on all the to do's! (I think I get so much going and then get discouraged because none is actually getting done! LOL :-) need to get out of that habit!)

Went down to Pa on Sunday and started working on the Youth Christmas Program there I think it will be good even though we are few in number (5 to be exact!) We're going to call in another friend of ours who sings and does a good job and is also holiness and he's gonna do a few songs too and I think we came up with a mixed quartet with My fiance, Myself, Matt (a part of the youth group), Eric (the singer we mentioned). I have to come up with the story Tin Can Valley since I will be telling it! The program is the Sunday before our wedding (yeah crazy I know but o well that's what worked out!) Bud and I plan on having the youth over to our house after the program which could be very interesting considering how very small it is! I think my parents may be there also and then me and my family will return to Ohio for one more week of Wedding stuff and then it'll all be over! LOL

Went wedding shopping yesterday and came up with some good ideas! I absolutely love Pat Ca Tans! They're awesome. The floral ladies offered to help me with my bouquets and stuff whenever I get to going on them!
Well I better get off here and get something done! LOL My mom put a loaf of bread in the bread machine and it's sooooo good! I had a fresh hot piece or two earlier , I really need to stop that because I won't fit my wedding dress then boo hoo! :(
Gotta run ttyl! I'll post some new pics of our house when I get some! It looks more lived in now since Bud is living there! He's got a big stereo system and it makes the place thump big time! He barely has to turn it up!

Mooooooving, Moving up to PA Land

Bud came and got a few pieces of furniture on Thursday and Mom and I ended up jumping in the car and following him out to the house and spending the night there. He hadn't officially moved into the house yet but now he's there as of last night! He says he likes in there because it's quiet! And you'd have to know the house he lived in before with all the kids there was hardly ever a quiet moment unless they were all sleeping! LOL

Yeah so I had my bebo account hacked into and someone sent out videos from You-Tube with it crazy people!

Well I have a short time at home today because of a long shift at work (Still only 8 hours) but it seems like more! They are cutting my hours so pray I can find work quickly out in PA! I'm thinking of possibly transferring my job out there to a Giant Eagle but I'm not crazy about it but if that's what works out that's what goes!

Hope for America

Yes this morning as I write to my blog I am more than a little upset with the majority of America, yet I'm still hopeful because God can turn this around and use it for the best. We as Christians need to get on our knees for our new president and pray that He will make the right decisions! God is still on the Throne and He's not forgotten His own!
If you think back to the time of the Great Depression it was democrat that brought this country out of that yes He wasn't the best either but the country still survived! We can survive this! Does it still scare me? Yes it does and makes me want to pray harder!
But we will still have very important decisions to make as Americans in the next few years, are we going to sit Idly by and let President-Elect B. Obama do what he wants with America or are we going to fight with all that is within us? Remember that Obama can propose bills but can't pass them in the same breath! He still will have the Congress, Senate, And House to go through! ( and yes I know most are now democrat!) But God has given us His promise and we'll still hold to that! There is still hope for America! We need to rally and pray for our leaders!
I do not mean that I'm behind Barack Obama 100% (I'm hardly behind him .01%!) because that's a lie! I don't agree with what he agrees with and never will. But we still need to pray for him as he leads our country! I wanted to cry for Sarah Palin and John McCain because certainly they have fought the good fight! God can still use them!

Election Day Woes!

Wow election day is here! I went and cast my vote earlier this morning then had a bunch of errands to run. Now I'm home and going to get busy on wedding stuff till I have to be at work this afternoon!

I've had a peace today about the election and I believe it's God given. God is the author of peace and not confusion and it doesn't help to worry about something you have no control over!

Anyways this is a short post but I really need to get busy! I have so much packing for moving to do and everything. I have 3.5 weeks of work left then 3.5 weeks till our wedding! So I'm going to go work on making pew bows and whatever else I can get into! It's gonna be a busy last few weeks.

Mom and I get to keep my niece Ava for a whole week the first week of December and we're so excited. It'll be the first I've really got to spend time with her since I lived in North Carolina 2 years ago! She's growing so fast I should put some pics up on this post of her!

This was when Keith had his boat she would go on fishing or boating trips with her daddy and loved it!
This was Christmas probably a year or more ago she would kiss the snowmen on Alicia's tree and tell them goodnight when she went to bed!
I just absolutely love this picture of her! She's such a little princess! This was after she had learned to walk so it's a little older I'll try to put some new stuff up here eventually!
This is Ava with Daddy after his return from Iraq on his first tour! She was sure one happy girl! I don't have the pictures from a month ago when He returned from Iraq from His second tour!
She had got a hold of Papaw's (my dad's) reading glasses and was trying to walk around our house it was quite comical! She would stop and look at you over top of them and then try to walk or stumble as it looked! LOL
Mommy took her to feed the ducks at a park on the Neusse River ( I can't remember how to spell it! LOL) where they live.
This was probably about a year ago! Sorry I do have newer stuff just don't have the CD right now! She's adorable though!

Boxes.....Boxes.....And More Boxes

This is a picture of our house. It looks different now because we've started moving stuff in and I'll maybe put some other pics up here sometime of the inside! We're quite excited to be able to get a house instead of an apartment! It's a little bigger and bit more private.

Well I've been cleaning today and organizing wedding stuff! I spray painted some candle a`bras I found at a yard sale this summer and painted them gold! I've been doing a mountain of laundry!

Bud is to come this weekend and get a load of stuff for the house since he'll be moving into it this week! I'll have to post a good picture of it up here.

For starters this morning I got up and was running the bath water when it started losing pressure and so my Dad had to go to the basement and try and fix it! Well he said you better do with what ya have because it's not gonna work! So I was in the middle of a load of laundry and running bath water and I need to run the dishwasher all of it takes water! We have water now it just needed a jump start sorta what I feel like I need about right now!

I'm listening to Christmas Music and it makes me want to get out stuff and decorate but I'll be moving about then!

I kept awaking with each txt that came into my phone this morning although it was on vibrate! My cousin was going to a last Palin rally today and she was to leave at 5 am! So she kept txting me about that and then Bud goes in to work really early and he always sends me a txt before going in to work so that came through. Then I got about three txts between 6:30 and 6:45 between Joanna and Bud! But o Well I should've been getting up then anyways!

I've got about 15-17 boxes of stuff for my wedding that I'm going through. But hey gotta run I think my next load is ready to hang out on the line (we don't have a working dryer! we have one but it's not hooked up to electric!) so I must go because I really want to get my laundry done today!

New to Blog Ring

I decided since so many of my friends are on here I'd join in the fun as well! I know I've made this with my married name already but the wedding is only a month and half away so I figured rather than have to change everything later I'd just do it all that way now!

There's still alot of planning going on! Bud and I had our engagment pics done this past week! My cousin and one of my 5 bridesmaids did them for me Joanna. She's really good with photography and she's laid back and it's easy to have fun while doing pictures. I might try to upload some of them onto here!

He will be moving into our house sometime in the next week or so. I've already moved some stuff over there not a lot just mostly kitchen stuff. And of course some bridal shower gifts that needed to go there anyways! I'll post some pics up of our house and y'all can check them out!
